About Us
Pressure Pipe Consulting Company (PPCC) was founded in 2024 to facilitate new pressure pipe rehab, cleaning and inspection technologies for the water and wastewater industries. Over the past couple of years, new startups have emerged due to expired patents and new technological advancements. PPCC can help you understand and implement new technologies, match them to the proper applications, appropriately budget and plan for their use.
Pressure pipes can generally be inspected for 5%-10% of the pipe replacement costs. On average, less than 4% of pipe segments are distressed. Inspecting pipelines proactively avoids costly failures, pollution and water loss while extending the remaining useful life of an asset and saving money. PPCC is transparent about the capabilities and constraints of available technologies and can help you implement the proper tools to obtain useful insights and make good decisions.
Many inspection technologies long used in oil and gas and industrial sectors are increasingly becoming available for the water and wastewater industry. We are excited to help facilitate new technology use to increase safety, sustainability, water conservation, and strengthen infrastructure.
Diana Tamara became involved in municipal water/wastewater during the 2020 pandemic. Due to COVID contact restrictions, Diana attended several conferences with her husband/co-founder Kris Embry. Diana sensed a need for more solutions in the pressure pipe space and sought to make the space more diverse. She looks after PPCC’s day to day operations, bookkeeping, and marketing. Diana is originally from Barranquilla, Colombia and speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese. Diana enjoys Carnival, dancing, music and great food!.
