Pressure Pipe Pigging

PPCC is partnered with experienced pigging contractor, American Pipeline Solutions (APS). APS provides pipeline pre-commissioning, mechanical pigging, as well as ice pigging. Pigging or cleaning a pressure pipeline will increase pump efficiency, remove contamination and save power. Pigging can be performed in pipelines as small as 1” to as large as 120” in diameter all while being tracked. Hard buildup and debris such as tubercles can be removed with mechanical pigging over several miles with one insertion point.

Ice pigging is unique in that it does not require special launch facilities to enter the pipe and can navigate through non full-bore valves and changes in ID while being guaranteed not to get stuck. Ice pigging is also NSF certified/non-harmful. It uses less water than flushing with 1,000 times more shear force.
