In-line PP inspection

PPCC is partnered with industry leading technology providers to offer world class in-line pressure pipe inspections. One of our partners, Insight Water Technologies, was formed by industry leading scientists/engineers seeking academic freedom to provide the best solutions for pipe management. Insight has developed state-of-the-art inspection capabilities for the inspection of Concrete Pressure Pipe such as PCCP (AWWA C301). Insight has developed free swimming, in-service capable tools as well as piloted tools for out-of-service inspections.

PPCC also offers eddy current and ultrasonic tools for cylinder pipe inspections. PPCC is partnered with American Pipeline Solutions (APS) for pigging and smart pig inspections. APS has a breadth of experience in pigging pressure pipes. Cylinder pipes such as steel, DIP and CIP can be scanned utilizing non-destructive testing techniques to find corrosion, graphitization, delamination and determine the pipe’s structural integrity. A pipeline’s geometry can be mapped for vertical and horizontal bends/location with specialized smart pigs.
